Why We Built SmarterGig
I didn't set out to build a platform. I set out to understand why so many talented, hardworking people were struggling to make ends meet despite working multiple jobs and doing everything "right."
After speaking with dozens of gig workers, students, and part-time workers—people living this paycheck-to-paycheck reality—a pattern emerged. They weren't looking for handouts or get-rich-quick schemes. They were looking for two simple things:
